Maybe you were insecure because the story didn't process in the actual mean of movement but the thing is, sometimes stories need a halt to evolve in the heads of the characters and I think you've done this amazingly here.
I love how you showed how Jongin and Kyungsoo think about each other and about their relationship and it was really helpful to point out how bad Kyungsoo's stage fright is, how much Jongin wants to help him and therefore how much he changed ever since they met.
The phone call with his mother just emphasizes this more and so you even managed to give the whole chapter a kind of spike when it comes to Jongin's attitude.
All in all I'm really happy about the update and that you finished it, brought it out here and hopefully get rid of your block soon.
Again, I'm really proud of you and in case I haven't said it clear enough yet: I really, really loved it and just know again why I am absolutely and eternally in love with this story whatsoever.
(I know no one who could describe the sound of a flushing toilet and make it sound poetic just like that - like what!?)
You are amazing, never forget that, alright?! ♡
