Warnings: Do I need to warn for classical music and moderate levels of fluff and cheese? And metronome abuse? Because yeah, there's some of that.
Notes: Eternal gratitude and aggressive bear hugs to Shanti, Ansa, Reeza, Cass & Gem for outstanding friendship and words of encouragement. But most of all, my love goes out to Joonmyun and Jongin who never fail to inspire me with the very real affection they have for each other. Truly, they are the OTP of my heart and I hope this story manages to capture even a few drops of the ocean of love I feel for SuKai. Written as part of the cuddlybros Sukai Fic Fest.


The bass is always pounding at Club Zouk. The decor has a hint of the futuristic about it and it’s about as far from piano sonatas and concertos as it's possible to get, but Joonmyun doesn't mind.

I've been thinking about it all day at work! I absolutely adored your Jongin - he was the perfect mix of self-confidence and shyness. Which if you think about it is totally him in real life, too, so you were spot on! I loved his mom, too!! She was perfect!!

I loved that Jongin used the ploy of "teaching" him to play piano just to get Joonmyun on his lap! And poor self-deprecating Joonmyun, always thinking himself boring!! I'm glad Jongin could see how wonderful he was!!

Also, I'm not sure you noticed but I didn't use Jongin pov this time? I've done it with only maybe 3-4 sukai fics where there was only Joonmyun pov. If I'd included Jongin I couldn't have retained the mystery lol. Also it would probably have hit 18k lmao!

And tbh, I guess that's your charm as a writer? What separates you from others who also write (great) sukai, is the softness in your fics. Like the over all feel and setting is just so calming -despite the occasional angst /cough/ firefly sukai /coughs/- and I fall a bit more in love with sukai because of your fics! Like i said, I want a love like theirs too ;;

I went into this fic knowing I was going to love it. Your sukai is always amazing, so my expectations were pretty high. And yet you still managed to exceed them! <3 For real, this was such a great read. The story kept me in its grasp and wouldn't let go. And I love how you write sukai's personalities - they're always so warm and real and human and flawed but so precious.

When Joonmyun was teaching the little girl Für Elise I was screaming at him about how Jongin told him to call him. So he must have his number. But I didn't remember the wind. Of course it was mentioned for a reason. The windows, too. Boy am I glad Joonmyun shops for flowers at Jongin's mom's shop. ^^

Everything from this line to Jongin's mom's arrival had me wiping away tears. ;_____;
