Notes: Eternal gratitude and aggressive bear hugs to Shanti, Ansa, Reeza, Cass & Gem for outstanding friendship and words of encouragement. But most of all, my love goes out to Joonmyun and Jongin who never fail to inspire me with the very real affection they have for each other. Truly, they are the OTP of my heart and I hope this story manages to capture even a few drops of the ocean of love I feel for SuKai. Written as part of the cuddlybros Sukai Fic Fest.


The bass is always pounding at Club Zouk. The decor has a hint of the futuristic about it and it’s about as far from piano sonatas and concertos as it's possible to get, but Joonmyun doesn't mind.

Adele!!!! Seems like I have a habit of re-reading when it comes to your sukai! (Or i just craved for one because of all the sukai in twitter) There's just something about the way you write them that's so lovely and real and my tummy is all fluttery and leaves my heart achy but in a good way?

Also, will i ever get over the frotting? NEVER. I HAVE BEEN SCARRED. YOU HAVE TAINTED MY INNOCENT MIND!!

You totally succeed though? I can always feel a sense of realness in your sukai fics! Especially with how you write Jongin's character. He's always so...in love and smitten with Jm and it's so endearing to read all of his thoughts on Jm ;; /sobs

Isabelllllll thank youuuu /cries all over you/ I do think I write sukai more tender than I write any other pairing. The feels I guess lol. Also, I'm not sure you noticed but I didn't use Jongin pov this time? I've done it with only maybe 3-4 sukai fics where there was only Joonmyun pov. If I'd included Jongin I couldn't have retained the mystery lol. Also it would probably have hit 18k lmao!

And tbh, I guess that's your charm as a writer? What separates you from others who also write (great) sukai, is the softness in your fics. Like the over all feel and setting is just so calming -despite the occasional angst /cough/ firefly sukai /coughs/- and I fall a bit more in love with sukai because of your fics! Like i said, I want a love like theirs too ;;

Ooohhh. Now that you pointed it out, I noticed! You started this fic with Joonmyun's pov! Now i remember, firefly sukai and second chances were in jongin's pov right?

BTY and second chances began with Jongin's pov but they also had Joonmyun's pov. But there are a few fics I wrote with single pov. The masked fics, too pink to handle, Eskimo kisses & sweater weather I think.
