Kyungsoo fussed with the buttons on his black linen shirt, for what seemed like the 250th time. Part of him was looking forward to meeting someone new while another part of him—the obnoxiously loud part—was worried he'd just signed up for an evening of excruciating stretches of awkward silence.

But he was probably overthinking things. His blind date might turn out to be a really nice guy. It could happen. But Baek had been so unhelpful and secretive: His name is Jongin and he’s 23. Tall, good-looking, charming. A mouth like yours. As descriptions went, it was pretty damned useless, but he'd decided to take the plunge anyway.

Mpreg Jongin is one of my favorite things out there and there is just not enough of it. SO BLESS YOU. He was so cute and confident admitting to being terrified but still courageous enough to do the bucket list thing.

Shy and semi anti-social Kyungsoo was SO VERY ME!?! I kept reading and just laughing because OMG why is she describing me?!

His smile infected Kyungsoo with a warmth and appetite for life he hadn't experienced in a long time. Where had all his energy gone?
This is me. Wondering where my desire to live and do things has gone.

“All I do is study and do assignments and take exams and sleep and play DotA. And wow, summing my life up in one sentence like that makes it sound like the worst kind of lame.”

I will definitely save this fic and come back to it whenever I need a little pick me up, a little push to come out into the sunlight!!

As he watched Jongin’s eyes brighten with excitement, Kyungsoo felt the bottom of the floor drop from beneath his feet. He felt like he was falling. . .and it had nothing to do with ropes and water.

Jongin insisted, giving him the warmest, most devastating smile and Kyungsoo knew he would not be walking out of this restaurant with his heart still in his own possession.

oh my...... this is the most beautiful thing i've read recently! i completely love it, from the plotline to the usage of words and development of action. it's beautiful really.
i like how you portray emotions with words, how neat your writing is. is pleasant to read and i'd read it any other time! congratulations, it's a piece of art tbh.

I think all of us have a bit of Kyungsoo in them but it's such an unexpected bonus that he resonates with you. Serendipity! Adele! For someone who's never written mpreg before, I thought you wrote it really well! It didn't seem awkward or uncomfortable or anything. Like it's just a fact of life. This fic was super adorable, and Jongin was so sweet and charming, and Kyungsoo was so blunt I had to giggle. Lovely little fic, as usual <3 I have the feeling these two will work out splendidly ^^

I enjoyed this so much! I loved your characters- their shy nature, their need to reach out... it was very calming and nice? WHY ARENT ALL FIRST DATES SO NICE?
I also adored how the pregnancy was there and it was discussed but it wasn't... invasive to the story? I don't know everything just worked so well!

it's been a while since I read any mpreg fics for reasons but this was a breath of fresh air and I loved both jongin and Kyungsoo's characters here(this is also my first mpreg with jongin as the pregnant one and I like that)~ I've had a long day I'm more or less a rl version of Kyungsoo's char here lol (I act went outside home td to hangout with friends for the entire day and it's been a while since I've act had fun with ppl) so the response ksoo got from jongin when he called his life /lame/ made me feel so serene smh I felt like he was comforting me too in a way idk but yeah I was listening to bts' butterfly while reading the story and it was perfect cause kyungsoo is falling for jongin's beautiful everyth like the song hhhh

I have to confess I've read very few mpreg fics and this is actually the first I've written lol, but I'm so glad people seem to like it okay!
